
4-H/FFA YOUTH RODEO

ENTRY FORMS DUE JULY 11, 2025 TO THE EXTENSION OFFICE

1. Logan County Fair’s Junior Rodeo is an amateur show open to Logan County 4-H and FFA members only.
2. Contestants must have a project exhibit in competition in the 4-H/FFA division of the Logan County Fair. In the event that the contestant’s 4-H/FFA projects are not in exhibit condition, their completed-to-date project record book must be submitted to the record book superintendent. Record book must be signed by contestant's project leader or chapter advisor.
3. Entries must be received in the extension office by July 11, 2025 by 5:00 pm.
4. Entry forms may be picked up at the extension office or printed off LCfair.org/youth-rodeo. Forms must be filled out and signed by contestant’s parents or legal guardians releasing the Logan County Fair Board from all responsibility. All contestant entry forms must be approved and signed by the 4-H member’s club leader or by FFA member’s chapter advisor.
5. 4-H and FFA members (age as of January 1, 2025) 8-10 years of age will compete in the Junior Division, 11-13 years of age will compete in the Intermediate Division and members age 14 and over will compete in the Senior Division events.
6. Entry Fee- $5.00 per event. Entry fee must accompany entry form. No refunds will be given for scratches.
7. Members may enter a maximum of three separate events. A participant must be entered in a minimum of TWO events to be eligible for the All-Around awards.
8. Event buckles (Sponsored by Cornerstone Construction) are awarded to first place winners in divisions 1-20 prior to the livestock sale.
9. An all-around buckle (Sponsored by Lenard & Helen Koester Memorial) will be presented to the high scoring junior, intermediate and senior contestants according to the following point system:
First Place– 5 points Second Place—4 points Third Place—3 point
Fourth Place– 2 points Fifth Place—1 point
NOTE: If less than five are entered in an event, first place will receive the number of points equal to the number of event participants.
Tie Breaker: 1. Person placing in the most events. 2. Person placing in events with most entries.
10. Special awards are given to the top and reserve girl and boy in each division. Additional Cash sponsored by Creed Fuels.
11. Awards Ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m., Sat., Aug. 2nd—Livestock Sale Ring
