In the event of a cardiac arrest, every minute counts!  Because emergency medical personnel can’t reach a victim for 3-plus minutes, your actions could save a life.  Sterling Regional MedCenter and Sterling Fire Department have donated an Automatic External Defibrillator (also known as an AED) to the community this year at the Logan County Fairgrounds. This AED is located along the right side of the grandstand entrance (in the ATM room). There is also an AED located inside the Exhibit Center near the restrooms. These should be used in an emergent cardiac event.

 

Your response could double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.
